1. Remove the clock spring.
2. Inspect for continuity between the clock spring terminals using an ohmmeter.
- If not as specified, replace the clock spring.
Note
- When the vehicle-side connector of clock spring is disconnected, the terminals 1A,1B, 1C and 1D are shorted to prevent unexpected deployment of the air bag module. When it is connected, the terminals are open.

Headlights (With LED headlights)
Low/High beam bulbs
The LED bulb cannot be replaced as a single unit because it is an integrated
unit.
The LED bulb has to be replaced with the unit. We recommend an Authorized Mazda
Dealer when the replacement is necessary.
