Wheel Bearing Play Inspection
1. Position a dial indicator against the wheel hub.
2. Push and pull the wheel hub by hand in the axial direction and measure the wheel bearing play.
Maximum wheel bearing play 0.05 mm {0.002 in}
3. If the bearing play exceeds the specification, replace and tighten the locknut to the specified torque and retest.
- Replace the wheel bearing as necessary.

When the engine is hot, it can badly burn. Turn off the engine and
wait until it is cool before removing the ECT sensor.
1. Drain the engine coolant. (See COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS.)
