Caution
Note
1. Follow the timing chain removal/installation procedure from 1 to 13 and remove the timing chain. (See TIMING CHAIN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.


Variable Valve Timing Actuator Removal Note
1. Set a wrench or equivalent tool at the hexagonal part of the camshaft to prevent rotation.
2. Loosen the variable valve timing actuator tightening bolts.

2. Tighten variable valve timing actuator tightening bolts.
Tightening torque 69-75N·m {7.10-7.6 kgf·m, 50.9-55.3 ft·lbf}
